Thanks for the comments.

Definitely scheduling plays a big part of our process, and we are fortunate to have a system that manages campaigns recording rankings, monitoring the links we have built etc, which all ties in closely with the process that we use.

It also looks at the traffic independently of other analytics packages, which ties in with all of these factors, and can be an early warning system of required activities, as well as notifying us when what we have achieved isn't delivering the end results required

Hi Pete,

I totally agree that Process is essential to be a successful SEO provider.

All too often we'll take over SEO accounts where it was apparent there wasn't anything being done on an ongoing basis, except a (typically unhelpful) report being sent.

Personally I'm a real fan of scheduling for my team - especially for the things that can be forgotten easily (recording of rankings, monitoring existing links etc), but also to make sure that in any given month we've always produced new content for the client, furthered their social engagement or improved their backlink profile (often all 3).

Cannot agree more! My thoughts. Through my experience of managing multiple clients with individual needs, I find that our processes always help me to make sure that each client and their campaign get same level of service and attention. If you don't follow a process, its very easy to forget certain key elements.
Having contact points, emails and importantly those customer calls at each and every step of your campaign help tremendously.

Good to see you recommending the same.
