About Me
Hello, my name is Scott McLay and im an SEO / Link Builder from Falkirk. I have been around SEO and Web Development for the best part of 7 years. I started off my career as a Web Developer/Server Engineer for an ISP company back in 2002 and after a year or so of low traffic I started to dabbel with SEO.
After I left the ISP Industry I continued to build websites and offer SEO services in Falkirk, most of the work coming from small businesses from around the area.
It was not until more recently that I started working full time in the SEO industry, my first position being at Dmarkable (Falkirk SEO Agency) where I worked on web projects and internet marketing for companies such as easyJet, Cruise118 and The Whisky Shop.
Currently I am employed as a Link Builder for an Edinburgh based SEO Agency, but also get heavily involved in Web Development, Copy Writing and Technical SEO.
This blog was initialy set up to test some of my SEO ideas, but has since been redone to be used as my personal blog. I will be using this blog to list ideas, theories and tips related to the SEO industry, I hope you enjoy reading.
